Inje University - 문화제험 경주

문화제험 경주

Last weekend on Saturday we got the opportunity to go on a trip to Gyeongju, these trips are always great with classmates because we get to spend time together outside of classes and it's an opportunity to visit some places that we may not think to go to alone.

Our first stop was Gyeongju world 경주 월드 It is a theme park with roller coasters and other rides as well as shows. The weather was a little cold but we didn't let that stop us from having fun. I personally am terrified of roller coasters so I didn't go on some of the more extreme rides but there is a wide variety of rides for everyone's entertainment so It was not a problem.

Actually, because my friends didn't have time to come, I initially went on this trip alone but a couple of girls really kindly let me join them for the day and even though we couldn't all communicate fluently we had a nice day. We went on a lot of the kiddy rides which was quite funny. I watched as others went on the more extreme rides!

After a few hours we regrouped and went onto the next point of interests 대릉원/ 찬마총 The sun had started to set and so the sky turned beautiful colours.

As we walked over to Cheomseongdae the sunset was breath-taking. I had always wanted to see Cheomseongdae in person and was surprised to see how small it was up close, I had only ever seen it in textbooks so I had no idea about the scale of it.

I was so beautiful and even though it was freezing cold it was such an experience to witness this sunset in real life. Also me and my new friends found this fortune machine and paid 1000원 To get a piece of paper with our fortunes on it corresponding to the year we were born, I thought it was such a unique little souvenir.

Lastly we went to Donggyung Palace and the night scene was absolutely amazing

Here is a full video of our day, thanks again to Inje university for organising such a fun trip :)
